Locally Owned and Operated
Vision:
In 5 years, Hands on Kneads will be the premier Corporate Chair Massage Provider by consistently providing amazing, reliable, affordable chair massages to companies, conventions and health fairs.
I help companies attract and retain top talent by helping show appreciation to workers, and help relieve the effects from sitting too long at a desk in front of a computer through onsite massage at the workplace.
Mission:
To bring chair massage to the workplace to improve morale, relieve stress, increase productivity, and brighten people’s day.
Back in the late 80's, Jeniffer Huie used to work at the Kabuki Hot Springs in Japantown in San Francisco. She learned early on the joy of receiving regular massages. Several years later, when she was in the police academy, after physical training, her body would be sore and she would use her per diem to get massages. Even then her body would not recover as well as it used to. Now, even more so.
She used to deal poker at Napa Valley Casino. The dealing, reaching for cards and chips and pushing pots is quite hard on the back and she realized that if she needed regular massages, than so would the players and other dealers. So, having found her niche, she made the time to go to McKinnon School of Massage in Oakland where she studied Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Carpal Tunnel, Anatomy, and Chair Massage.
She loves the feeling she has after receiving body work and wishes to share it with you and your office. After all, who does not want or need a massage? Also, she finds giving a massage, just as relaxing and therapeutic as receiving one. Life is stressful enough. Make more time for yourself. Your body will thank you.
After working as an independent contractor for Texas-based Infinite Massage for over six years, she thought it was time to re-brand herself and go for the corporate clients. She closed up her massage studio as it was hard to compete with the foot reflexology places that were popping up all over.
She has made several contacts over the years and feels that she can provide better service having worked directly with the other massage therapists and knowing their work ethic and styles. Also, she's not getting any younger and would like to slowly wean herself out and leverage other people's time and skills.
So, keep it local. Learn to appreciate your employees more, get more employee attendance at your health fairs, hire us for your next event.
